Tournaments! Getting started…
Tournaments are a motivational way you can get students within your studio competing in a note-naming competition.
After creating a tournament, you can invite students to participate. All students in a given tournament are shown the same group of notes that you have chosen for them. Each participant is represented by a horse on the screen. Each horses’s position in the pack represents the student’s speed at answering the flashcards in relation to the other participants.

You decide when the tournament begins and ends. A leaderboard keeps participants updated with everyone’s rankings. Students can compete as many times as they like before the tournament ends, striving to improve upon their fastest time and move up the leaderboard.

Tournaments are a sure-fire way to motivate your students into becoming expert note-readers!
